Do you cringe at the sponsored posts you read, wishing you could reach through the screen and shake the people behind it?
If so, this might just be your jam. TempStars is looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to climb aboard our rocket ship. We are a small but mighty team on a mission to make the world a better place for dental professionals.
As TempStars’ Social Media Manager, you will be planning, crafting, designing, implementing, deploying, managing and monitoring the company’s Social Media strategy through multiple platforms, in order to drive growth, build brand awareness, strengthen our positive reputation and overall community engagement.
And don’t worry – we do have a savvy marketing team already, so you won’t just be thrown into the deep end without a starting point. You’ll be joining an experienced team who will coach you on TempStars marketing and branding foundations, set you up for success while still letting you spread your wings with your own style and creativity.
The world of TempStars Social Media Manager includes:
- Plan, develop, design, implement and manage TempStars social media strategy
- Define and monitor social media KPIs
- Manage and oversee social media content
- Measure the success of every social media campaign
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
- Use social media marketing design scheduling and planning tools (for example, Buffer and Canva)
- Following (and improving upon) TempStars social media brand and style
- Become very familiar with TempStars audience, members and personae
- Expert at Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn
- Schedule and plan content while remaining flexible, fast and responsive to last-minute developments and news
- Monitor and respond to up-and-coming social media trends
- Use data-driven decision making to optimize and evolve our social media strategy
- Video editing
- Engaging with and growing our community of dental professionals
Social Media Manager requirements and qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Experience with Social Media Strategy for growth
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Great cultural fit for TempStars enthusiasm and positivity in communication
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Self-driven initiative with a “get it done” attitude
- Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work across departments
- Formal training in marketing and social media management combined with personal passion and familiarity with up-to-date industry trends
- This position is a blend of remote and in-person. Ideally the successful candidate lives within driving distance of Toronto and can join our weekly Operations meetings, be present at events and participate in our in-person initiatives.
