TempStars Endorsement Feature
Last week we released TempStars v3.9.1 and with this release came along a new feature – TempStars Endorsement Feature. As always, we keep in touch with our Members. We often find inspiration in having conversations with our Members to enhance the TempStars service. After chatting with some Members, a common concern that Members are still experiencing are the uneasy thoughts about their health and safety when going into new offices. Though we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel for the pandemic, it is not over. Health and safety is not over. With our newly introduced Endorsement Feature we are adding another layer of trust and transparency for both sides.
How does the Endorsement Feature work?
Before this new feature, Offices have been confirming and specifying what PPE and Infection Control protocols are in place. So, as additional reassurance, we are now asking Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants to confirm the Office’s confirmation. The more reassurance, the better!
After a shift, a pop-up will appear for hygienists and assistants. This pop-up will prompt Members to indicate if an office has adequate PPE and Infection Control protocols that meet the COVID-19 Guidelines. If a Member confirms that office meets the previously listed, then future shifts that office posts will show the office is endorsed in the shift details.
Why is this important?
We want to ensure all TempStars Members feel safe. That includes both offices and Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants. By adding an extra layer of trust and transparency, Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant Members are able to help other Members out with reassuring the office meets all safety protocols. On the other hand, this additional layer of trust and transparency will increase an offices chance at receiving an offer for an available shift. Trust and transparency make great temping shifts! ?
Remember to continue familiarizing yourself with the proper usage of PPE, and the Infection Control Protocols.

Stay safe, be kind and help each other!
